The leaderboard for the Fantasy Players, by Eugene Change
Many thanks to the 65 people who played this year's GCWC Fantasy croquet and the 30 Spaniards who used it for their own internal competition. Eugene Chang has kindly automated the scoring system which should now be complete and shows not only everyone's finishing position, but also which players were the best value for money (Fields, Matthews and Garay) as well as many other stats.
The bronze medal went to Gary Phipps with 1590pts
The silver medal went to Euan Burridge with 1640pts, one better than his actual finish.
The gold medal and massive world prestige went to Ian Burridge with 1660pts and the impressive winning team of Fields/R. Fletcher/Fordyce/I. Burridge/Matthews and J. Alvares-Sala.

I thought I'd run another Fantasy competition to increase interest in this year's GC Worlds which start on 18th October. As usual, please feel free to involve your friends, work colleagues, family or circulate around your fellow club members. There is no financial prize - just the glory of winning - a bit like the event itself!!
How to play.
You have a budget of $7.5m and must choose a team of EXACTLY 6 players without going over that budget.
There are 76 players to choose from - the 4 qualifiers will not be included.
In the event that one of your players does not start, you may replace them. If you do not replace them, you will automatically be given the next player on the list below.
